The Prayer Room Ministry is a ministry that believes in the Power of
Prayer and that Prayer is the key to developing a stronger relationship
with God the Father through the Holy Spirit.
What is Prayer?
Prayer is the privilege of communicating with God our Father through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It is expressing your heart to God and spending time with Him. It is not a one-way conversation, God speaks, we listen, we speak, and God listens to our hearts.
What happens when we pray?
Prayer moves the heart of God and He hears our prayers and answers us at His appointed time.
The Purpose of Prayer
The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of believers. By being open and responsive to the working in the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory.
Why do we Pray?
Philippians 4:6 say, to make our request know to God. Our Father knows the desires of our heart. He knows what we need, and he knowns when we need it. Like all parents, our Father wants us to come to Him asking for what we want, whether we are asking for healing, a financial blessing, or His direction in our lives. When we make our request known to God, we have to stand, wait, trust, and believe He will do what His word declares it will do.
Who do we pray for?
Our sick and shut-in, those are in hospitals, nursing homes and prisons.
The Nation and the World and the President and his family.
Our Pastors, Elder and our Spiritual leaders.
We pray for our children, our schools, our homes, and our jobs.
The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. James 5:16b
